Abstract

The foundation is one of the most important structures in a building or construction, where its function is to carry the entire load on it and distribute it to the ground so that the building above it stands firmly and does not experience excessive settlement. A pile foundation planning must be done carefully and as carefully as possible. Each foundation must be able to support the load to the specified safety limit, including the maximum load that may occur. In carrying out this final project, the author chooses the Analysis of Pile Foundation Bearing Capacity Using SPT Data on the Development of Balohan Port, Sabang City, Aceh. The purpose is to determine the bearing capacity of the pile foundation and calculate the ultimate capacity of the pile. To determine the bearing capacity of the foundation is calculated using the Meyerhoff method based on field data (SPT). As a conclusion that can be drawn from the topic of this discussion, the carrying capacity of single piles (Qi) is 148,536 tons, and the working load received by the piles (Pu) is 93.529 tons from the calculation of the bearing capacity of the foundation Qi < Pu. In the calculation of the settlement of the pile, the result is 18.90 mm < 50mm. So it can be concluded that the pile foundation on Trestel pier is able to carry the working load.
