Abstract
Indonesia merupakan daerah vulkanik dan sedimen, sehingga pada beberapa daerah terdapat kandungan tanah lunak seperti lempung lunak, lanau lunak dan gambut. Dalam pembangunan infrastruktur jalan raya baik untuk jalan tol,jalan provinsi/kabupaten, jembatan serta jalan perumahan seringkali mengalami kendala menemukan kondisi tanah lunak sehingga memerlukan penanganan konstruksi secara teknis yang bisa menyamai kontruksi tiang pancang, secara biaya bisa lebih murah, secara konstruksi bisa lebih cepat Banyak Metoda Perbaikan tanah lunak yang sering digunakan seperti Deep Mixing Method, Geotekstil , Tiang Pancang dll, dimana semua jenis metoda yang dipilh harus disesuaikan dengan karakteristik tanahPada akhir paper ini dijelaskan perkembangan Teknologi terbaru untuk perbaikan tanah seperti Broaded Bottom Pile, Joint Splice Sheetpile yang bisa disambung.
