DAMPAK JUDI ONLINE DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA DARI SUDUT PANDANG TOKOH MAX WABER DAN EMILE DURKHIEM
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas fenomena perjudian online dan dampaknya terhadap individu dan masyarakat. Perspektif sosiolog klasik Max Weber dan Emile Durkheim digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor sosial dan psikologis yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemain judi online. Weber menekankan pentingnya memahami makna subjektif dari tindakan sosial, sementara Durkheim memandang individu dalam konteks solidaritas sosial dan norma sosial. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa faktor psikologis seperti naluri manusia untuk menang, rasa ingin tahu yang adiktif, dan keyakinan terhadap strategi kemenangan memengaruhi perilaku pemain. Lingkungan sosial yang menghargai perilaku bermain juga menjadi faktor pengaruh. Kesimpulannya, perjudian online memiliki asal usul sosial dan psikologis yang kompleks. Untuk mengatasi dampak negatifnya, diperlukan pendekatan holistik yang meliputi aspek sosial, psikologis, hukum, dan preventif.
