PENENTUAN BIAYA PRODUKSI MINYAK GORENG DENGAN PENDEKATAN DINAMIS PADA PT. BERLIAN EKA SAKTI TANGGUNG MEDAN
Abstract
The total forecast for cooking oil demand during the 12 periods reviewed was 62,270 tons. The total product inventory at the end of December 1997 was 1000 tons, so the total for the next 12 periods was 61,270 tons. Optimization of production costs is done because there are two types of costs that are minimized namely First, the daily fuel costs Rp. 4,000 Zm and weekly fuel costs Rp. 6,000,000 per Rp. 1500 tons of weekly production. Second, the cost of inventory deviations is Rp. 6,000,000 per month with a production capacity of 250 tons per day and a storage tank capacity of 2000 tons. So the average amount of product inventory for each period is 0.5 Kn so that the total cost of inventory deviation for each period is Rp. 18,500 Kn. This problem can be solved by dynamic programs. If this stage by stage problem is solved then the optimum amount of production and the amount of inventory in each period will be known which will then lead to the calculation of the optimum amount of production costs in each period.
