STUDI PEMANFAATAN TENAGA LISTRIK DI PABRIKKELAPASAWIT PT.PRIMA SAUHUR LESTARI PEMATANG KERASAAN
Abstract
This study aims at finding out the amount of electrical energy utilization needed to run a Palm Oil Mill (PKS) with a capacity of 45 tons and analyzing the efficiency value of the utilization of electric energy used in a palm oil mill with a capacity of 45 tons where the cause of the reduced value of the efficient use of electrical energy is influenced by various factors. One way to determine energy utilization policies so as to optimize energy is energy analysis. In energy analysis, the energy value used in each stage in an overall system is calculated to get an idea of the extent of the energy consumption. This final project contains an overview of the extent to which electrical energy is used to carry out the production process at a 45 ton capacity palm oil mill by calculating the electrical energy consumption at each station. The research was conducted at the Palm Oil Mill of PT. PrimaSauhurLestar, Pematang Ker Rasa, Simalungun Regency.The results of the study found that the use of total electrical energy for the production process at the palm oil mill of PT. Prima Sauhur Lestari amounted to 502.4 kW, with a level of use of electrical energy in the production process of 73.05%.
