PENGETAHUAN KELUARGA TENTANG PENYAKIT JANTUNG KORONER DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM BINA KASIH MEDAN SUNGGAL

Abstract

Coronary heart disease can cause death, one factor that can aggravate the patient's condition is the lack of family knowledge about coronary heart disease itself. This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the level of knowledge of families with coronary heart disease in Bina Kasih Hospital Medan in 2017 as many as 36 respondents. The samples of this study are all families with coronary heart disease who were hospitalized in Bina Kasih Hospital Medan in 2017 as many as 36 respondents (Total Sampling). The results show that the families of patients with coronary heart disease in RSU Bina Kasih had the majority of knowledge classified as sufficient categories. Therefore, it is suggested to the family to be able to have healthy lifestyles by diligently exercising, eating balanced and nutritious food and reducing smoking and alcoholic beverages as well as diligent control or check-up to the health center or other health services and if an attack occurs immediately down to the nearest hospital so that patients get first aid after the attack, and it is recommended to the Medan Bina Kasih Hospital Management. Managers should provide counseling in the form of Promkes about overall coronary heart disease for families and sufferers who are hospitalized or outpatient.
