ANALISIS GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. CIPTA MANDIRI AGUNG JAYA MEDAN
Abstract
Employee performance in an organization cannot be separated from the leadership style; that is the ability to influence others through direct and indirect communication. This study aims at finding whether the leadership style influences employee performance at PT. Cipta Mandiri Agung Jaya Medan. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. Data collection methods used are: observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis method used is a simple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing used: ttest and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that leadership influences employee performance. This proves with a simple linear regression equation obtained Y = 8.338 + 0.616X and the calculated t value (8.195) and the value of t table (6.313) and the classification value obtained at 0.000 <0.05. In the results of the study found that the relationship between leadership style with employee performance at PT. Cipta Mandiri Agung Jaya Medan strong (R = 0.638). The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained was 0, 407. This shows that 40.7% of the performance (Y) is influenced by the independent variable, namely the leadership style (X) while the remaining 59.3% is influenced by other variables not examined. It is recommended to the management of PT Cipta Mandiri Agung Jaya Medan for improving the leadership style given to employees so that employee performance obtained can also be maximized.
