HUBUNGAN SENAM HAMIL DENGAN LAMA PERSALINAN KALA II DI RSIA STELA MARIS MEDAN
Abstract
Maternal and perinatal mortality rates are indicators of the success of health services, particularly midwifery and perinatal services. Until now, the maternal and perinatal mortality rates in Indonesia are still quite high. This study aims at analyzing the relationship between pregnancy exercise and the second period of delivery at RSIA Stella Maris Medan. This analytical survey research cross sectional approach. The population of all pregnant women who participated in the exercise was 100 people, the sample was 30 people with accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by interview using a questionnaire. In analyzing the data, chi-square test was usedData analysis used the Chi-Sguare test at the 95% confidence level. Results: The study showed that the majority of mothers participated in pregnancy exercise regularly as many as 24 people (80%), experienced a second period of labor <90 minutes, as many as 21 people (70%). The results of statistical tests show that there is a relationship between pregnancy exercise and the second period of labor with a p value of 0.041. mentally in the process of childbirth stage II.
