HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN DENGAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA YOS SUDARSO MEDAN T.A 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the significant relationship between Christian Religious Education and the school environment of students of class XI IPA SMA Yos Sudarso Medan Academic Year 2020/2021. This is quantitative descriptive correlational research. The population in this study is 35 students of class XI IPA SMA Yos Sudarso Medan Academic Year 2020/2021 and the number of samples is the total population or the so-called total sample size. Previous research instruments were tried out in different classes to determine their validity and reliability. This questionnaire has been tested for its validity and reliability, meaning that the questionnaire items that passed the test results were used to capture data consisting of 15 items for variable X and 17 items for variable Y with 5 options (a, b, c, d, e) The results of the test results for the analysis of normality of data on Christian Religious Education for students of class XI IPA SMA Yos Sudarso Medan, TA 2020/2021, are normally distributed with the results of X_h ^ 2 <X_t ^ 2 (30.34 <49.80). The results of the school environment data are normally distributed with the results X_h ^ 2 <X_t ^ 2 (21.99 <49.80). The results of the linearity test for the XI grade students of SMA Yos Sudarso Medan T.A 2019/2020 are linear, with the equation Y = 19.31 + 0.74 X consulted with Fcount> Ftable (49.40> 4.14). The results of the trend test for Christian religious education are categorized as good (37.14%) and the school environment is categorized as good (28.57%). Based on the results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient, it was obtained r_count = 0.775. By consulting the rtabel for N = 35 at the 5% significance level, it is 0.334. Then the value of r_count (0.775) > r_tabel (0.334), this shows that there is a relationship between Christian Religious Education and the school environment of class XI IPA students of SMA Yos Sudarso Medan, TA 2020/2021, followed by the “t” test with a significant level of 5% where it is obtained t_count > t_table (5,452> 1,689). This shows that there is a significant relationship between Christian Religious Education and the school environment of students class XI Private Senior High School of Yos Sudarso Medan Academic Year 2020/2021.
