ANALISA DISTORSI TEGANGAN PADA SALURAN TRANSMISI 150 KV PT.PLN (PERSERO) GARDU INDUK NAMORAMBE
Abstract
Power plant centers are generally far from load centers, this result in considerable losses in the distribution of electric power. This loss is caused by a fairly long line, so that the distribution of electric power through transmission and distribution will experience distortion in any high voltage transmission equipment. On the 150 KV transmission network, Namorambe Substation, the fault analysis is calculated as short circuit. The losses incurred by the Namorambe Substation are in the form of leakage voltage (voltage drop), overvoltage causing the circuit breaker to open, service being interrupted (disconnected) and losses incurred on the conductors and the equipment itself due to a short circuit. To overcome the cut off of the current voltage supply to consumers, protection equipment is needed to work normally and voltage distortion that lasts a maximum of 1 second and above 1 second the equipment becomes damaged. In this thesis, the writer will compare the calculation manually with the calculation using the MATLAB method. From the simulation results, the MATLAB method is more accurate than the systematic calculation.
