STUDI SISTEM STAR MOTOR INDUKSI 3 PHASA DENGAN METODE STAR DELTA PADA PT.TOBA PULP LESTARI TBK
Abstract
Three-phase electric motors are the type of motor that is most widely used in both large and small industries compared to other types of motors. This is possible because this type of motorbike has advantages both from a technical and economic point of view. Three-phase electric motors have large initial current characteristics but this can be overcome by several methods of regulation, one of which is the star (Y) -triangle (Δ) starting system, where this system is very simple and can be applied to all types of three-phaseelectric motors. The objective to be achieved in this research is the manufacture of a manual three-phase electric motor linkage control system (Y) -triangle. The data collection methods in this study were survey methods, interviews and literature study methods. The results showed that the PLC-based three-phase induction motor starting control and star protection (Y)-triangle (Δ) circuit can work well. The starting current of an electric motor using the star (Y)-triangle (Δ) starting method is 2.89 amperes. This shows that starting an induction motor can reduce the high starting current when the induction motor starts operating.
