Abstract

In the use of electric motors as engine drivers, especially in this discussion, a cooling machine in an industry or home requires a protection / safety system that must be installed on the motor to reduce losses caused by disruptions that may occur. The cooling machines that are widely used in this day and age are very rapidly circulating in the market and a cooling system that is used must have a good protection system so that the electric motor that is on the cooling machine is functioning properly. The main target is the importance of a protection system on an electric motor so that the engine coolant can be used for a longer time and guaranteed safety, as well as cost efficiency. Safety of electric motors in controlling an electric motor consists of 3 types, namely overload safety, short circuit safety and short circuit safety and overload. So the safety of the electric motor that functions as a controller must be maximized and properly considered to support the desired results.
